New Peter Pan 50p to be launched in support of Children’s Charity Great Ormond Street Hospital!

Peter Pan is one of the most loved children’s stories of all time. The iconic character of the boy who never grew up flying off to Neverland over the London skyline isone of the most famous moments in children’s literature.

However what comes as a surprise to many people is that in 1929, author JM Barrie gifted all his rights to the book to Great Ormond Street Hospital

The coin will be released on 11th June 2019 to mark 90 years since JM Barrie’s special gift to Great Ormond Street Hospital.

What makes this coin so special is that for every British Isles 50p sold, a donation will go directly to GOSH charity to help them support the hospital and the seriously ill children and young people cared for there.

Great Ormond Street Hospital is an international centre of excellence in child healthcare. Each year, over 300,000 children and young people visit the hospital from across the UK for life-changing treatments. The hospital’s pioneering research and treatment programmes give hope to children and families facing the rarest, most complex and often life-threatening conditions.

Design to be revealed on 11th June 2019!
