Well I can tell you one thing that isn’t impossible … Winnie the Pooh on a UK 50p!

I can’t believe I’m saying this, as a massive Winnie the Pooh fan I can confirm that there will be a brand new Winnie the Pooh 50p coin series and it’s set to be released this year!

As of the Royal Proclamation on 24th July 2020, a series of 50p designs, inspired by the tales of A.A. Milne, will be issued to celebrate the lovable bear and his friends of Hundred Acre Wood.

It’s been stated that there will be three 50p coins issued. The first featuring Winnie the Pooh and then later, a Christopher Robin 50p, and Pooh’s best friend Piglet.

Whilst the designs of the new 50p coins are still very top-secret, I can’t wait to see this loveable bear, Christopher Robin and Piglet, come to life on a 50p!
