The 2022 UK Kanga & Roo Video Transcript:

The next coin in the Winnie the Pooh and Friends 50p series has graced us with its presence. Isn’t this the eighth coin in the collection now? Yes, that’s right this is the eighth 50p. Before this we’ve had the 2020 Winnie the Pooh 50p. The fun just never ends. So, the Kanga and Roo 50p features the beloved mother and son duo and just look at how sweet they look they fell so quickly into Winnie the Pooh’s close circle of friends. I think it’s only right they now have a place in the Winnie the Pooh 50p coin collection Kanga is such a gentle character who is mature. Uh something you need to work on. Nice, and level-headed she is mother to Roo, who is curious and playful and it’s so nice isn’t it Paul because Roo and Tigger actually form a really sweet friendship, both super energetic. Yes, I agree they have lots of good times together and really help one another grow stronger into great characters. You can see the bee buzzing around on the background which is a feature uniting all the coins in the collection. And, I just think you can really feel Kanga and Roo’s bond through the beautiful design it’s what makes it so special and if not for yourself this 50p would make such a thoughtful gift to a family member or friend. I think you should pull she’d really love it I’m sure of it. I think it’s really important to remember that all the 50p designs in this coin collection are inspired by the classic stories written by A. A. Milne and its E. H. Sheppard who drew the charming illustrations. The Winnie the Pooh stories which first began in 1926 have remained hugely popular with well with a lot of people, everyone’s heard of Winnie the Pooh haven’t they? And, collectors have loved the 50p releases so far. I mean it was only back in March that the Eeyore 50p was released and do you know what happened? It sold out in less than 24 hours I wasn’t talking to you Paul, I was talking to the viewers actually. Of course, of course you know the answer because you work here! Anyway, it sold out in less than 24 hours. Now, that’s really impressive. This makes me think that collectors are set on completing their collections and with the end near they sure do not want to miss out. Imagine how annoying to have some but not the others. That would be, oh that would just really, really anger me. Sorry, sorry. So, I was saying collectors are snapping the Winnie the Pooh 50p coins up really quickly and this means you really mustn’t hang around. Pooh wouldn’t wait to eat his honey, would he? The silver Proof specification is in full colour which really brings to life the heart-warming design. It’s been struck from .925 silver and has been finished to that all-important Proof standard. It comes presented in a wonderfully decorated acrylic block and it’s just, it’s just so pretty. You’re right Paul. The edition limit is just 6000 and like I said previously this certainly won’t be enough to satisfy demand. We also have our Capsule Edition ready for you collectors which I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again I’ll keep saying it. It comes complete with a free display stand. Like the Capsule Edition The Royal Mint BU pack encompasses your Kanga and Roo 50p which has been struct to a Brilliant Uncirculated quality, free from all the scratches and imperfections you would otherwise find on your circulating change. So, we have a varying range of Kanga and Roo items to offer you. Which one will you be adding to your collection see you next time!
